NOTHING
Designed by Mille Grøm
The lamp Nothing is an interpretation of silence as void, meaning the silence that arises in the void after something you have thrown away. The project aims to give this void a shape by illuminating the negative volume in another form. The shape of this illuminated volume is a plaster cast of an old lampshade and vase, almost like a fossil. The casting has an almost iconic lamp shape. It is not the lamp itself that lights up, but a hidden light source.
