Favn is a small sidetable cast from a bioplastic called Jesmonite, its shape inspired by the act of embracing. Organic meets geometric in the form of both of the elements of the table. The top is plexiglass, which compliments and accentuates the texture of the base. Inside the base there are chips of coloured bioplastic, some hidden, some clear against the suface. The colours are inspired by each member of my family, partly as I view them, and partly as they view themselves.
